Pentium IV 2.4GHz or equivalent processor, 1 Gb RAM, 2 Gb of free hard disk space, 256 Mb accelerated 3D graphic card, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 or Microsoft Flight Simulator X, Windows XP/2000 or above (not compatible with Windows 98/Me).
Adobe Acrobat® Reader is also necessary to read and print the manual.
  Available for FS9 and FSX Fly The Maddog is one of the most sophisticated and complete add-on ever developed for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The accuracy of cockpit and system simulation is very high and there are many features which add realism to the simulation and are not present in standard FS aircrafts.

Cockpit versions
Four different 2D cockpit versions:
- Full EFIS with Honeywell FMS for LNAV and VNAV (the classic Maddog).
- Full EFIS with Canadian Marconi FMS for LNAV and PMS (Performance Management System) for VNAV.
- EFIS with FMS and analog EDP (Engine Display Panel), SDP (System Display Panel) and OAP (Overhead Annunciator Panel).
- Full analog with Canadian Marconi FMS and PMS.

Aircraft model
- Realistic control surfaces (the pilot act on the control tabs and the main surface will move for aerodynamic effect, i.e. when IAS >0).
- Working elevator power.
- Realistic rudder movement: powered/manual/restricted.
- Realistic spoiler (each tab is assigned to the correct hyd system and the max angle is controlled by the wow).
- Separate left/right reverse syncronized with the cockpit lights.
- Working autoslat with test.
