Explicitly for Technical Support

This post will sound snotty, therefore I will prefix it by saying that this is not intended to be a slur on any of those customers that are successfully using the aircraft.

A friend and I both purchased flythemaddog Pro 2010 for the sole reason of multicrew. We have been unable to get this working, after 7 hours of trials.

Your manual is poorly written, it reads as if translated, badly, into English and the support on your website is non existent.

Please do not direct me to a forum post as I assure you I have read them all and none of them have worked.

You have created a product and advertised it as supporting Multicrew, for me and my friend it does not. I therefore ask that you provide a comprehensive tutorial in readable English which will enable us fly multicrew or provide us both with a refund.

Indeed! But I thought it polite to try and get some support before instructing my bank to take action.

It really is a shame, if there was more support then shared cockpit complex aircraft is such a niche that some money could be made from it.

Oh well.

I have given you adequate notice of my intentions, I will be instructing my bank to recover the money at the end of this week.

Sorry that I've been away from the Maddog Forums for a while. Just curious how things worked out for you.

You're correct, the documentation for Multi-Crew is lacking in that there is no particular "Multi-Crew Manual" (which would have been very nice), but the information is spread throughout the documentation. Google can also help considerably. It took me about 20 hours (here and there) to research how to setup the Multi-Crew session properly, and one is hindered by the fact that the documentation available is primarily written for 2D panels and I use a VC (which lacks the Multi-Crew Cues). Then I spent about 40+ hours of research and trial/error to figure out how to create a stable multi-crew session in the Maddog.

If you're still flying the Maddog, PM me your email address and we'll see what we can do to help you. My group uses a private voice server, which I'll give you access to as it will help us to compress time frames and get you up and flying in Mulit-Crew.

By the way, we've been enjoying Multi-Crew sessions for about 3 years now. In fact, we often fly Multi-Crew on VATSIM, which provides an incredible level of immersion, especially during VATSIM events (as real as it gets!). The Maddog was many years ahead of it's time, and still offers the most systems intensive and accurate modeling of any third party software for flight simulator.
