So my GPWS and APU have been labelled INOP for RW months now. Is the 10 days "actual flight days" or real world days before mtc fix the problem? My GPWS has been out for a while and now my APU has gone and it's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay longer than 10 RW days so I guess I have to wait 10 flights...

Thx

Hi.
Days are here real world days.
But you are allowed to ask your mech. to fix it quick!
The 10 days are the maximum allowed before fixing and after 10 days, they will fix it whatever you do.
But if you are in a hub of your airline and if your mechs are not on holidays, sure they will be glad to fix things for you wink.gif
Repairing before the 10 days is no cheating.
Cheers,
Cyril

Thanks for the reply Cyril. Unfortunately my mech. don't seem to want to "speed" up the fixing... smile.gif My GPWS has been out for a while now and my APU Bus has gone u/s as well. I'm going to have to fly everyday just to get her fixed!

Hi again!
Good flight with those Minimum Equipments then wink.gif

Just to be sure that there are no missunderstood: I hope that it is clear to you that it is YOUR choice (and not random at all): You can fix everything you want from the Maddog Manager and Settings if you want to "simulate that your mech is OK to fix the things"...
But of course, you may also want to "simulate that your mech doesn't want to speed up the fixing (As a totaly insane virtual MD pilot, this is usualy my choice) laugh.gif
Cheers,
Cyril

Of course I won't "cheat" and restore these items through the manager. I didn't buy this product to be almost real... I want totally REAL!!! lol. The only problem I ran into was gate airstart on the one engine and then after the push I couldn't get the other engine started. After reading these forums however the problem is solved by "reving" the running engine slightly to get the required >3.6 pressure and voila second engine starts! I do kinda miss the altitude call outs on approach though...
