Haven't been playing with FS for quite some time and started again this weekend. Was flying circuits with the MD but the AT was giving me some problems at the start. Sometimes it will simply not engage and at other times it will work just fine. My question is what is the obvious things to look for when you dial in a speed, enable AT and nothing happens?
AP is in HDG SEL or HLD mode and using vertical speed of say 1500fpm. TOGA was pressed before takeoff. |

Apply full power with throttles, start takeoff run and when EPR gets 1.30 approx engage A/T; EPR power should be limited to 1.94. At 1500 AGL press Climb power and shortly before 250 kn press SPD on MCP: A/T should correctly operate. Mauro |
