Yes the VC came later and is not up to par
CArl Perry

Jeez, Carl, my friend - I hafta disagree. The only time I use the 2D 'pit is to set the speed bugs. I use the TripleHead2Go and TrackIR5, with three 19" monitors, and only fly VC - and lots of others fly that way, too. I'll grant you - some of the switches are a bit "blocky", but it's very easy to see and use, all lighting works properly, every switch having its' own sound AND what is a raised 3d object - like an HSI, clock, button, instrument, lamp in real life - actually appears that way - it's not painted onto a flat surface!

When PMG, CS, Wilco, Ariane, etc., have operational circuit breakers, intercom, and all the other full functionality that this MD-83 VC has - in their VC's - then we can say "it's not up to par"... but then we can say "it led the way", right? thumbsup.gif

I agree with you Paul, this is one very nice VC indeed! i to also only fly in VC and use TH2G (just need TrackIR now) and find this one of the most pleasnt places to sit ever, every switch is modelled and every dial! Superb, cant get enough of it...

It makes one wonder that perhaps their horizontal stab bolts have come loose......

If LSH goes belly up or just doesn't want to work on the maddog any more, why don't they just pass on the baton and find someone who is able and willing to provide support, fixes and improvements on the maddog.

It would be better than just letting the MD80 rot and fade away in some locked drawer.

It could be greate if PMDG will take over the development and support of the Maddog...
I really like their work and support...

I'm totally disapointed about Leonardo... i can't understand why they can't use 5 minutes to let us know how they going in progress...
Not even when they recieve a mail they will use a minut to reply (and fair enough if they get tons of mails every day)

Hopefolly we will hear some good stuff from Leonardo sooner than later...

With LSH

a) not having told us about any work in progress
b) not having released any fixes, service packs etc

for quite some time now, I really fear that the whole dev team might no longer be there or 100% busy with different stuff and LSH just does not have the guts to tell us.
How hard could it be to write a single post or put a one-liner status update into these forums or on their website?

Their on one of their famous holidays again.

Truthfully, I think they consider the Maddog done and all development on it has stopped. Real shame as I would have LOVED an analog VC. Oh well, some you win, some you loose.

Shame.
