What a bad day!...after a train trip to Verona (from my house in Rome), my first flight today is the IG519 to Rome FCO!!! Departure time is 07:50. I'm the First Officer and the Pilot Flying too. Our MD is parked at the stand 31 from yesterday evening...




Checking the battery voltage: 25V. Perfect. BATT ON and LOCK. And these are the advisories on the EOAP.



The COM takes this picture from his seat, showing us the POWER UP of the DFGC after starting the APU.



I take this picture during the ANNUNCIATOR and DIGITAL LIGHTS test.

We can start boarding: we open the cabin door and the after stairway.





While waiting for the passengers, VRN tower informs us that the runway in use is rwy04. This is the SID to KOPER.



Boarding is ended, an airport official carries us the loadsheet..89 passengers



Engines started, plane set for T/O. Today FLEX39 is the optimal Take off thrust.

Lift off....

I fly the SID manually...I turn right to join heading 155?



Soon we reach the final flight level: 230. Some clouds start to appear...here is the FCO metar : LIRF 240700Z 23017G27KT 6000 RA SCT015 BKN040 10/06 Q1003 NOSIG.



Probably the runway in use will be rwy25 (generally used for T/O)



Turbolence is increasing...

ER in all is beauty...



RAM temperature is decreasing and there is some moisture: we engage the AIR FOIL and the ENG ANTI ICE. In order to have enough air pressure to make the AIR FOIL working we make a descent in IAS HOLD mode, with engines left at about 1.20 EPR and speedbrakes extended at 3/4.



It's raining while we are cleared to URB NDB. .



Under FL100 we switch to SPD SEL and V/SPD in order to have the ALPHA SPEED protection.



Flying over URB we are able to see the main Rome monuments.

We decrease our IAS to 190KT with flaps15 than we turn right to join the Localizer ILS25.



Totally configured for landing...I switch off the AP.

Waiting for the GPU we shutoff only the right engine...the Cross Tie energizes the right AC BUS...

Awesome series of Screenshots. I just can't stop flying ISS and AZA around too laugh.gif . I would love to join Meridiana Virtual (especially to get the crew audio) but I am only able to pass the test and that's there my italian ends smile.gif .
