Hi Dante,

VC only. In my case I don't have any Track system. I use the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and with the hat button I work fine. Is not as good as Trak IR but works.

2D panel are quite uncomfortable and unrelistic, and so, they could be avoidable in designing them. The VC is the most realistic experience you can have in any sense. In my opinion, the designers have to put all the attention in a good quality VC.

I didn'y fly the Maddog for a long time because of the poor frame rate in its VC, but with the new upgrade, I am very happy, and the VC qualty is finally much nicer than before. Thanks to the development team for the great job.

Regards,

Both for me. VC on take off and landing and 2D in the cruise. Just wish there was a VC for the analog panel as it's #1 the ones we fly down here and #2 I love steam gauges biggrin.gif Please please please give us a VC for at least one of the analog panels, do not really care which one biggrin.gif

VC all the way .This may an opportunity to ask the developing team to provide us with a better VC cockpit ,more facilities ,working zoomed - in views etc.

Another VC all the way. Now that the a/s bugs can be set from the VC there is no need to look at a 2D panel. The 2D doesn't really work with the TripleHead2Go, anyway. In the real world one's head is moving around all the time, and once one becomes familiar with the accelerated eye movement one doesn't notice it. The "T" reflector works well, too, but I do dislike the hat, however I don't know that i can justify the cost of the IR clip.

Flying on-line for a Virtual Airline I prefere 2D cockpit (wide) + one additional monitor (16:9) in which I display permanentely FMC, Pedestal, Speed chart, Start-up panel, Captain side radio panel, Ground/crew panel and Overhead (full screen) when I need it. Flying IFR there is no need to move the views around except in visual approach ( circle-to-land procedures). Such arrangement makes all operations faster taking in account the high workload of a single pilot in approaches with on-line ATC operating.

Hi,

2D only for me as it really needs TrackIR or similar (which I don't get on with), though I like the VC.

Best regards,
Robin.

Real men fly 2d! Seriously tho, I fly online only and the at times high workload makes 2d the most practical solution. I hate trying to find that exact clickspot in the VC to adjust things on the glareshield cp! With 2d the clickspot is always at the exact same place.

I also prefer the 2D panel. Just easier to find and use the required switches.

What does "VC" mean? Is it something like "WC"? wink.gif
