Hello,

Although I am a rather old maddog user, I just recently managed to get multicrew to work (with the help of Hamachi and the excellent posts found in this forum).

So, now that the technical aspect of it has been ironed away, we come to the more practical problems...
None of us (flying the MD in multicrew) has any experience (or information) on crew cooperation issues - who-does-what, standard call outs, workflow patterns, emergency situation management etc...
The thing we need the most is std call outs, each one of us knows his own set of them and it soon becomes a mess...

Can anyone help by providing information one these issues?

PS Multicrew (and the LSH MD in general...) is pretty amazing.

Here is another type question that really should be answered with, "What airline do you wish to model?" cause every airline has different flows, timing, and callouts. Good Luck!

Well, any airline I can get info about is fine I guess - we (just four friends up to now...) don't have any specific airline in mind, so, anything will do - as a matter of fact, it doesn't even need to be a specific operator either, as long as the procedures are realistic and reasonable for the type.

Just an idea - why don't we (as a community - the ones active in this forum for instance) come up with a set of "standard operating procedures" (what Cyril has done is an excellent starting point IMHO) for the LSH MD? If that is done, we may even try, at a latter stage, to arrange "training flights" using the multiplayer feature. This, I believe, will add enormously to the fan factor. I am sure there are a lot of experienced people (either RW pilots or experienced FS users) that can contribute, and I am also sure that we all love to help a fellow simmer get the most out of our shared hobby (this is, after all, what having a hobby is all about...)

What do you think?

Cyril hi,

Thank you for the booklet, it is very useful!
I do have a problem though - try as I might I can not get a good printout... I tried to follow your instructions on setting the printer up for it but all I get is out-of-order pages.
Would it be possible (if available) to send me a normal version (normal page sequence) for me to print out?

Thank you very much

Arggg... So sorry but it isn't available.
I made version 1 with the correct order, then put the pages so you can print the booklet, and made all the corrections with the "strange order" version...
But unless you have a printer that allows a "booklet and recto/verso" printing, you have to print the pages like I suggest: it is important because of the form (A5 and two pages in front with relative data)
I suggest you take time with used paper and poor quality settings not to waste ink to print like I explain. If you can find out what to do, you'll be OK.
If really you can't, contact me via Skype, looking for cyril.fcy-mc . I'll help you live.

Cyril,

Thanks for the reply - I do have a printer that can print on both sides of the paper.
I'll try some more and see if I manage to get it right.

Hi. OK.
If you can't, just tell: I'll try to make a "in order" version one of these days. But it's difficult quickly: I really do not have a single hour of free time those days sad.gif
Cheers,
Cyril

Cyril,

Don't do it just yet, let me try and get a correct printout with the one I have. If I do have a problem I'll let you know.

Once more, thanks for the booklet and the helpful replies.
