I have the maddog 2010 pro and whenever I load the plane in whatever panel state (cold and dark, ready for takeoff) the ART INOP warning is on the EOAP and the art switch is switched down the with the switch exposed with the red light on. I have not reinstalled it yet.

Open Manager & Setup application, go to the Failures/INOPs tab, in the bottom section select the aircraft you fly, mark the INOP in the list and click the Delete button

Problem solved. Worked like a charm.
