Just purchase this wounderfull plane and already completed a flight. My question is after entering fuel weight int the fms, what does a or n stand for? I cant find a reference to this anywhere.
/N is "normal fuel burn configuration"
/A is "alternate fuel burn configuration"
I believe you can only use /N on the MD-82 as setup on Fly the Maddog. Based on what I've read in real world manuals, I think you need center tank boost pumps with an "auto" selection to use /A. I'm not sure which MD-80's have that option (maybe the MD-88?), but don't believe the MD-82 does.
Anyone have more on this topic?
