Yesterday, I installed a flight planner (Plan G) and afterwards all of my saved flights (the folder was empty) were gone including the default tutorial. Is there a way I can restore the default flights & tutorial without having to reinstall MD 2010?
Thanks,
John
I, too had problems with FSX not understanding the PlanG plan, with the MD flying off course and ATC "forgetting" where we were going... it got dumped pretty quickly and back to FSBuild.
So - I uploaded the four files from the spot where FSX normally puts your saved files. You can download them from:-
h t t p://www.fileserve.com/file/EPTGxDg/MadDog_Tutorial.FLT
h t t p://www.fileserve.com/file/K7ywyRn/MadDog_Tutorial.WX
h t t p://www.fileserve.com/file/vWYNktY/MadDog_Tutorial_NO_ISD.WX
h t t p://www.fileserve.com/file/XmFa35n/MadDog_Tutorial_NO_ISD.FLT
You need to remove the spaces between the h t t p in order for the browser to accept them, and then you need to make an account on Fileserve.com to get the downloads. I've not used FileServe before, but don't see any other fileshare that's any different (or appears more honest), maybe some else can make a better recommendation - but - if you want these files, they are there - make an account there and the links will work. I've checked them out. If there are other files needed here - post back, let me/us know.
I also put them up to www.mediafire.com, much more user-friendly:-
h t t p://www.mediafire.com/?sksyk3nzsy5cv ............this is folder 'Maddog'
and
h t t p://www.mediafire.com/?hmh8biix3r19s68 ...........and this is folder 'Maddog 2'
but for some reason the NO_ISD.WX didn't appear in the Maddog folder. If you find it on the site - post back here, in the interim I will rename it, re-upload it and see what happens.... Duh! I'm probably being a dummy, and doing something wrong.. I made a second folder and it worked in that one..
