My apologies, but I can't seem to find someone with a similar problem.

I am using Maddog 2010 pro, W7, FSX and a Saitek X52. I have a registered version of FSUIPC. However, I have not calibrated my joysticks using any platform.

When I am getting ready for t/o, it doesn't matter what combination I use, I cannot get the A/T to control the throttles.

I have tried:

1. Brakes, set 1.4, release brakes, arm A/T, and then nothing happens. ( I am not touching my throttle at all...)
2. Brakes, set 1.25, release brakes, arm A/T, nothing happens...
3. No Brakes, rolling start at 1.4 and 1.25, arm A/T, nothing happens...

When I say nothing happens, thats what I mean. The thrust will stay at whatever I initially set 1.4 or 1.25... Nothing happens after CLMP (or 60kts).

Can anyone offer anything I may need to check?

Thank you all very much in advance. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Mark B.

Did you engage TOGA before takeoff run (Takoff Takoff on FMA)?

Yes. I have folllowed all the steps properly. I think it may be a hardware problem... Thoughts?

Paul, Thank you for the link.

However, I have repeated these exact steps at least 10 times with the same result. I have followed the tutorial & manual to the exact steps with no luck.

The A/T simply does nothing despite the aircraft configured properly.

I can advance the throttles manually to the approximate take-off required thrust, and A/T at no point during flight will take control.

I have read in several posts previously that some people believe the throttle is sending signals that do not allow the A/T to become active. The last option I have found (and will try tonight) is to utilize FSUIPC for my throttle Z axis control and not FSX. We will see.

Mark - can you post a screenshot (or put it up on PicasaWeb, Photobucket or such) of the instrument panel just before and just after you've advanced the thrust levers?

No Screen Shots req'd.

It seems utilizing FSUIPC to control the Throttle Axis Z and disabling Axis Z in FSX has done the trick. A/T works great now.

Thank you for your help!

Well I'll be darned! Glad you've got it fixed, Mark!
