I would pay the full price over again for a new VC and some small updates..
I really can't understand why we can't have some kind of official statement from LSH...?
Just yes, no or maybe would do...

I spoke with Davide a few months ago (I think it was March), specifically about updating the aircraft. This was the third time he and I have spoke about this. In his first two replies he stated that he'd been thinking about an update, and I provided him some feedback about some of changes (multi-crew, network client, changes to aircraft position updates between host and the client (PF/PNF) and a few aircraft systems functions.
Sadly, in Davide's last reply he said that "he'd been away from the software for quite some time...". In "programmer speak", this means that he's thinking he'd have to spend too long to re-familiarize himself with the software and programming than he would like to or has time for. In other words, he gave me the impression that he's done updating the aircraft.
I wrote back to Davide asking for a release of the weather radar as a stand alone function, but did not hear back from him on that one.
I do not enjoy sharing this, as I've held out hope for an update, but given Davide's candor in his last email to me, I really don't believe we'll see another update. Look like he's solidly moved on (by the look of his company website, it's understandable and he looks to be very busy).
So, I love the Maddog, as do many of you and the other guys I've been flying online with for years. In fact, it's still my favorite aircraft to fly, even when I compare it to the NGX, MD-11, and Level-D. Many in my group feel the same way, and have worked hard to give Davide some solid feedback for updating the network software. We're sure to continue to fly the Maddog, possibly as our Multi-Crew trainer when we take our group public - even with two other Multi-Crew capable airliners solidly on the near horizon. After all, if you can fly the Maddog accurately and realistically, you can fly most anything!
My best to all the fellow Maddog enthusiasts!
