Stefano Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Fly the Maddog X MSFS2024 compatibility now available as an OPEN BETA Program – Free for all MSFS2020 customers! At this stage, we consider development and support for MSFS2024 to be experimental, due to the current state of the SDK and the simulator itself (which we still consider immature and containing bugs). For now, only the MD-82 variant is available. You can download the MSFS2024 installer from the dedicated topic in our forums (login required). Although we will accept customer support tickets for the MSFS2024 version here, please note that we may not provide direct responses. However, rest assured that we will review all user-submitted issues to help improve the MSFS2024 version. Additionally, we have created a new community forum (login required) that we will monitor to gather user feedback. As a side note, MSFS2020 repaints are fully compatible with MSFS2024. ***KNOWN ISSUES (1.2b212)*** -> MSFS 2024 does not honour the registration stored in the aircraft.cfg file. The first time the Maddog or a new livery is loaded, the correct registration must be set in the MSFS Aircraft -> Configure -> Identification page. Alternatively, the entry "Registration=<registration>" can be added to the SYSTEM section of the maddogx.ini file, specifying the registration of the aircraft that will be used in MSFS (i.e. Registration=I-LEOX). -> Pilot/Copilot avatars do not show up correctly. -> MSFS 2020 Maddog X liveries are compatible with MSFS 2024, but the aircraft thumbnail will not be visible when selecting the aircraft (except for the default liveries). -> Maddog X Quick Guide document not updated.
